When you start the game this is re-stated and you are required to confirm you are aged 13 or older. The game page also states that “This game is not suitable for children or those who are easily disturbed”. So, in a desperate bid to try and rescue the happy ending she tried to give you, she attacked Sayori. Monika recognized that you, the Player, deleted her likely for ALL the other girls, not just Sayori. This ending is sometimes called the “bad” ending or the “Just Monika” ending, as she is the only one left at the end of the game. If you have played through DDLC at least once, there’s a good chance you ended up with the Monika ending. You can easily now Delete Monika from DDLC and to that just go to your Steam folder and here find DDLC folder > Characters > Monika Folder and Delete it. This will cause the protagonist to panic and go to Sayori’s house, where she will be found dead, hanging from a noose with blood on her hands. Monika’s Jump-scare During Act 3, if the player has OBS or XSplit running in the background during the part where Monika says the player’s PC name, instead of that dialogue appearing, she will notice that she’s being recorded and after a short talk will jump-scare the player. The hardest part of this game (and one that parents should think about) is its raw, unfiltered depictions of mental illness. Some of the imagery is difficult to experience, and the overall setting becomes anarchic and twisted over time.
